ORCKC Training Nights and Classes
Practice Nights
Our training building is open for weekly conformation and rally/obedience practices. The building will be opened by a designated club member. Scheduled practice nights vary from month to month. Please contact the club member in charge to let them know of your participation. Visit the Upcoming events page for the current schedule. Non-members may join practice sessions for a $5.00 mat fee.
Conformation Practice: Includes, stacking, gaiting, down and backs, unusual patterns and show examination ("judge" handling legs, head, mouth, etc.) Feed-back and critique from fellow participants.
Rally Practice: A variety of courses are laid out with opportunities to practice various rally exercises in sequence.

ORCKC offers several puppy obedience, beginner's obedience, and conformation classes throughout the year. Interested individuals may fill out an application prior to the first night. Proof of current vaccinations and class payment will be due by the first class. |

Puppy Class
A six-week class for puppies 4-6 months old. Curricullum includes basic commands such as sit, down and come and interaction with obstacles and objects such as variable surfaces, tunnels, and cones. Contact Cindy for additional information and to register: 270-684-5064

Class Application
Beginners Obedience

Class Application
Rally Class
A six-week class for dogs 6 months and older. Course includes Rally signs and simple course layout.
If your dog can sit, down, and stay, he or she is ready for Rally. Beginning Obedience is not required but can be helpful!

Beginning Conformation Class
An Introduction to Competive Dog Showing - information covered includes: understanding judging, reading and understanding a premium list/entry form, AKC point system, and handling tips and techniques. 4 weeks
